I’ve always walked past the Lush store every time I go
shopping and have never ventured in to explore. To be honest, I don’t know why I
haven’t gone in.
Well one day I thought I would have a gander as there’s been
so much buzz about the store online. I came out with the Catastrophe Cosmetic Face Mask (£5.75,
Lush). I have oily, spot-prone skin and am always on the lookout for the
next big thing to combat my imperfections. The mask contains fresh blueberries,
Irish moss gel, chamomile oil and calamine powder which are all good old
fashioned natural ingredients. None of those pesky chemicals are in here, hell
no!
Well ladies and gentlemen...this is one of the best face
masks I have ever used! My skin was so smooth and actually glowing without any
of that tightness you feel with the regular face mask. I could actually feel my
frickin face! I did feel like a Smurf when i had it on with the blueish tint of
the blueberries but who doesn’t want to be Smurfette, right?
If you want a treat once in a while this is perfect for you
as it’s so relaxing and smells heavenly. But if you need an emergency pick me
up for your skin, this stuff is your holy grail of face masks!
