LUSH Tea Tree Water

Lush is soon becoming one of my favourite shops. Firstly, their products use natural ingredients which take away my guilt of plastering chemicals on my skin all the time. Secondly, their products actually work and give you reliable and long lasting results.

Since I was 13 I’ve been battling with minor breakouts, I’m always looking for the Holy Grail of acne products to wash my skin blues away.

Well fear not, I think I have finally found it. Lush’s Tea Tree Water gave me instant results since the first night I used it. I woke up to find smoother and clearer skin, so smooth I think I gasped a little.

For £3.75 this is a steal, in a matter of fact it felt like stealing because it’s so good. The solution’s main ingredient is Tea Tree (doesn’t take a genius to work that one out) which is a pioneer in defeating the evil forces of bacteria infected skin.

I’ve been using the product for a month now and it’s still giving me the same results, plus I’ve only used a quarter of the bottle. For all those cheap skates out there, what are you waiting for? It’s long-lasting, cheap and it actually works!

Maxfactor 2000 Calorie Mascara

It has come to that time of year where my ever faithful YSL Mascara Singulier has finally given up on me. The poor thing just can’t give me beautiful long lashes anymore and is sadly destined for the bin.

However, my lashes aren’t to worry. After a quick dash to Superdrug I found this tall, dark and handsome beauty. Max Factor’s 2000 Calorie Mascara, to put it simply, is just bloody brilliant!

After years of putting mascara on my fragile lashes (since I was 13, naughty naughty!) they've seem to have lost their thickness. After applying just one coat my lashes have been replenished, giving me a very natural look without making me look bare. Just imagine the heavy heights of two layers...

Now I do love this mascara, but the smell that wafts out of the bottle is horrendous! I can’t describe the aroma that wafts up towards my nose. I guess it’s some concoction of chemicals that give the same smell to fake tan. All I know is that it isn't pleasant!

But who cares! It gives me bloody good lashes and has defied the normal mascara convention of having length BUT volume at the same time. Halleluiah!
